Pharmaceutical testing involves testing of drugs in all formulations including tablets, capsules and injections for testing of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), stability testing, etc. At FARE Labs, we possess state-of-the-art HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatogram) which plays an important role in determining the content of a particular API within the respective formulation.
We possess all required instrumentation for testing mechanical integrity of tablets, such as friability tests (loss of weight in drug during transportation), tablet disintegration test (time for the drug to dissolve in suitable media) and most importantly, the dissolution test apparatus, which checks the release of drug in an artificial environment similar to that of the digestive system.
Nutraceuticals
Nutraceuticals are products, which besides providing nutrition are also used as medicines. These nutraceuticals and food ingredients from herbal sources may be contaminated with pesticides, heavy metals, toxins, radiation or could be adulterated with drugs. FARE Labs addresses these concerns with international standard tests to ensure these nutraceuticals are compliant with the rules and regulations of the FSSR Act and other standards.
